The problem

Tracking medication expiry by hand doesn't scale past a few hundred SKUs. Stock that's about to expire gets buried behind newer deliveries and either sells past date or gets written off. Fast movers run out because reordering is done from memory. And a basic cash register gives you a day's total with no idea which lines actually earn their shelf space or which suppliers are worth the credit terms.

What we do instead

We implement a pharmacy system that tracks every product by batch and expiry date, prompts staff to pick first-expiry-first-out, and flags stock approaching expiry while there's still time to act. Reorder points trigger alerts before a fast mover runs out. The POS is built for a queue — quick lookup, common payment methods, clean receipts — and the reporting shows movement, margin and supplier performance so purchasing decisions are based on data, not habit.

Questions

Straight answers

If your question is not here, message us on WhatsApp — you will get a real answer, not a brochure.

Still not sure?

Ask us directly — no form, no login.

  • A real person replies, usually the same business day
  • We will say plainly if we are not the right fit
  • No obligation and no sales sequence afterwards
Can this track controlled or scheduled medicines separately?

Yes. Group B and scheduled poison items can be flagged so their sales are captured with the extra detail you need and pulled into a dedicated report. We configure this to match your record-keeping during setup.

How does first-expiry-first-out actually work at the counter?

When staff sell a tracked item, the system shows which batch to pick — the earliest expiry in stock — so older stock clears first. It also lists near-expiry batches on a report so you can act before write-off.

Does it work offline if our line drops?

Yes, the POS keeps selling offline and syncs stock and sales once the connection returns. Multi-branch consolidation catches up automatically.

Can it handle both the front shop and the dispensary?

Yes — general-sale and OTC items and dispensary items are all in one catalogue, with the scheduled-medicine handling applied only where it's needed.

Do we need new hardware?

Usually not. It works with standard barcode scanners, receipt printers and cash drawers. We'll confirm compatibility with anything you already have.

A website that does not bring enquiries, stock you cannot track, a phone that never stops ringing with the same question. Send a message and we will tell you honestly whether we can help — and what it would cost.

No account needed. Most enquiries get a reply the same business day.
